Harris, Nancy Marie - The death fo Nancy Marie Harris of 22 Pugslye Avenue, Saint John, occurred unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 13, 1998 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and marie (stopp) Fitzpatrick. Nancy was employed with CIBC Wood Gundy, and was an adherent of Portland United Church. She was a beloved mother, who was a best friend to her daughter and worshipped and adored her granddaughter. She was very fond of animals and loved her dogs. Nancy always thought of everyone else instead of herself. She is survived by her daughter, Nanci-Jane and her fiance John Graves of Saint John, and was the beloved sister of William (Bill) and his wife, Joanne of Saint John, Donald and his wife, Valerie of Saint John, Brian and his wife, Corinne of Fredericton, Raymond and his wife, Susan of Saint John, Stephen and his wife, Mary of Saint John, Kevin and his wife, Holly of Saint John, Joan and her husband, Robert Chenier of Quispamsis and Deborah and her husband, Rendell Smith of Saint John, a loving grandmother to Devonne and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Nancy was predeceased by a daughter, Anne-Marie and a brother Robert.
Visitation will take place at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:13 p.m. from Portland United Church, Newport Crescent (off Millidge Avenue). Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, the family has suggested rememberances to the Children's Wish Foundation or the Alzeheimer Society of Saint John.

The funeral of Nancy M. Harris of Pugsley Avenue was held from Brenan's Funeral Home to Portland United Church where the service was conducted by Rev. Tedd Paw. The organist Mr. Barry Snodgrass accompanied soloist Lisa Hanson and Portland United Church Choir. The readers were Tara Drost, Ashley Fitzpatrick, Natalie Fitzpatrick, and William Fitzpatrick.
