Settled in Philadelphia, Pa and went to Shelburne, Nova Scotia with the Port Roseway Associates in 1782. Settled in Little Port Hebert on land near his brother Jasper. In 1791 he had three acres of land cleared and stocked with a cow and hogs. Moved to Jones Harbor.spouse: Roaker, Clarkey (*1752 - )
He had 6 children by his second wife, Clarkey Roaker.
All four sons emigrated to the Philadelphia area about 1765; were Loyalists during the American Revolution and were forced to abandon their property and flee to New York City. About 1780 they joined the Port Roseway Associates and finally left New York on April 26, 1783 for Port Roseway (Shelburne), Nova Scotia, arriving on May 3th.spouse:
