Wallace & Viola moved from California Settlement, NB to Limestone, Maine around 1929-1930. Vaughn Parks wanted to stay in California Settlement and he kept asking Moses, "When are we going back?" Moses would always reply, "Sometime." Vaughn said to this day he hates that word. Naida, Vaughn's wife, painted a picture of the old homestead on a saw blade and they have it hanging in their home in Caribou. He said the homestead isn't there anymore. According to verbal reports, Viola may have had one or two children from her first marriage to Stanley Peters of Bath, NB. He married twice after her. According to some people, her and Stanley lived in a small shack on Route 105 near Woodstock, next to the McLaughlin's.spouse: Peters, Stanley (1897 - )
