Elizabeth Wood, second wife of Peter (son of Richard Knight and Susanne Mahy) was the widow of James Tilley. It is not known if she had children by her first marriage. Peter and Elizabeth are not listed in the census for Guernsey in 1841 so they may have returned to her birthplace in Cornwall. It is not known if she emigrated to New Brunswick with him when he arrived in 1844 with his three children from his first marriage.
